What does each column mean?

The Demographic Report Table contains the following fields:

2020 Census Tract  2020 Census Tract Number  
BG 2020 Block Group Number   This field will not be populated in "City/Community and Census Tract" search.
City/Community Name  City/Community Name  Name is in accordance with County of Los Angeles Board Approved Statistical Area (BASA).
P P = Participating City/Community in the Community Development Block Grant Program
N = Not Participating
 
Low/Mod Data % Low/Mod Percent  
Persons Number of Low/Mod Persons  
Universe Universe used to calculate percentage  
Population Total Total number of persons  
Disabled Total number of disabled persons  This field is currently not populated.
Political District Sup 2021 Supervisorial District

Please click the check box of the political districts of your interest. You can check multiple districts at the same time.

Sup: 2021 Los Angeles County Supervisorial District

Assembly: 2021 California State Assembly District

Sen: 2021 California State Senate District

Can I print the demographic report?

Yes. Please follow the instruction below.

1. In the header, click "Printable Report."

2. A new window will open. From the tool bar, click on "File," select "Print," and click "Print."

 


How can I add and remove Tract/Block Group interactively?

To add a census tracts or block groups to the existing map, simply click on the census tract or block group and the system will automatically shade the area you selected on the map, add the demographic data to the grid, and recalculate the counts.

To remove a census tracts or block groups from the existing map, simply click on the Remove link and the system will automatically un-shade the area on the map, remove the demographic data in the grid, and recalculate the counts.
